BTS - mods / scenario clearup

Hi,

I'm probly gonna buy the addon, but before I do does anyone know how many of the addons are scenarios and how many are mods?

By scenarios I mean the come on 1 pre-defined map and start locations and that's it.

Everywhere I look sometimes the same things are referred to as both, Final Frontier is a good example, being described as both but never being clear what it is.
Last info I read, there was all scenarios and only 1 mod.

By your definition of Mod I know at least two qualify:

Gods of Old: Standard game but now with a wacky religion replacement with all 7 religions being based on Ancient Mesopotamian Gods that actually grant players unique benefits and DEMAND absolute loyalty from their worshipers.

NextWar: Play as a stand alone scenario OR use as a mod to extend the standard game into future techs.

I HOPE Final Frontier will feature random maps but who knows.

Thanks! As one OBSESSED with random maps (and Civ 4's have always been some of the most interesting/believeable), this means a lot to me!

It also just makes sense as previews have hinted there is a bit of a Battlestar Galactica, "Search for the Lost Colony" aspect thrown in, what fun would it be if its always right there in the lower left corner just right of the black hole?

Well, it's not as Battlestar Galactica-ey as some are making it out to be. It's more like Civ in space.
