Farms without irrigation?

Farms without irrigation?

What technology permits farming without linking to previous irrigation? (Electricity perhaps?) I know there is one, but I can't find it in the Civilopedia. Looking forward to Beyond the Sword!

They get +1 food instead of +2 like irrigated farms with biology get.
