  • Road to War: Movie!

Here is one of the "200 megs of videos made by Apolyton's own Hexagonian", that due to size were cut from BtS release version.

    Well done Hex!

    Nice movie, Hex!

Sad that not a single screen of the game is in,
    though I could have known

That was cool. Acually that would be fun. but if it lags the game would be annoying.

Yup, pretty good movie; certainly sets the mood.

So how about a few turns of gameplay footage in the style of the Gamespot movies? Eh?

Mike, the movies don't lag the game at all. Nor do the cutscene movies.

          V. Soma & JimMac, sorry but I can't show gameplay. You know, NDA.... rules.....

Where's that music from? Band of Brothers?

And, ya know, russkies were your allies... As were brits... All that "we stand alone!" stuff is a bit silly.

            Sets the mood, though.
I've allways wanted to play "Russ Meyer's Civilization"

I thought was meant to from the British perspective.

The image looks like St Paul's Cathedral in London (later shown with air raid bombs and searchlights) and it was PM Chamberlain who was famous for appeasement. Add to that, Britain was an island, and for a year was standing alone (depending on view).
One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

We also have a few more videos done... Watch for the rest when the add-ons come out.

(Dale, you had better save them for that... )
