  • Civilization V...an Ider

    this is about an Ider that I have bean toying with...A series of stopanamashon based on Sid Meier's Civilization(all of them) I plan to make it with lego.

      I think Ider=Idea and stopanamashon= stop animation

      All being done with Lego's building blocks.

              I reckon they're referring to the technique otherwise known as "stop motion animation", where you capture a single frame, then move the objects of the scene slightly, and then capture the next frame and move the objects again, and so on. When you play the frames in rapid succession stuff will appear to be moving. It's commonly used with stuff like clay, puppets and LEGOs.

              @ Erik: Go for it, it would be great fun to watch!

                    It's some kind of a movie, I understand.
                    I'm curious, what will the movie exactly show? Civ leaders? Or will it be some map including workers and troops?

                    One needs quiet an ammount of cool lego figure's to create something like that!
