What am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong...but I can't get the game to let me produce any of the replacement part troops. Not sure why, but I want to be able to have infantry and such and it won't let me produce them. I have replacement parts in numerous games but no option to produce infantry. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Infantry requires Industrialism

The Civilopedia is pretty clear about what pre requistes you need for certain units - some also require certain resources (eg Copper for Axeman) - even if you have the tech, you may not be able to build due to lack of resources.

Not sure if Replaceable Parts gives you access to any particular unit, cannot recollect

It's Marines & Tanks that require Industrialism. Infantry requires Assembly Line & Rifling. Basically, to know the requirements of a unit, hover over the icon in the tech tree screen and it will tell you.

I've tried to build fighters & tanks before without having Combustion yet -- Embarrasing!
