Did Civ just become a Space 4x?

  • #2
That review is noted in the Beyond the Sword Fact Sheet thread (post #182). The space shot is an included scenario "Final Frontier:" a
"Civ in space" scenario, where you colonize other planets and do things on a galactic scale
per Solver in post #1 of the thread.

The new civilizations include Native American tribes, as well as Portugal, Babylon, the Netherlands, and Byzantium.

... Except to the people to whom it's new.

Some people (e.g., Sarxis, maybe?) don't seem to come here every day.

Everyone who comes here should be checking the factsheet daily, and it had this info four days ago already

I haven't been reading the factsheet, or these forums much. I've been too busy playing EU3. It seems like Faraxis played EU3 took some of the concepts from it. Royal Marriages and Events are both in EU3.

So now the people posting here are traitors that mingle with EU3?

Nonsense! Firaxis took the concepts from History! Just as EU3 did.

EU3? How about EU, EU2, Crusader Kings... (Now CK, that thing had Royal Marriages, with capital letters.)
I've allways wanted to play "Russ Meyer's Civilization"

I wouldn't consider myself a traitor. As soon as turn the below into an world controlling empire, I'll go back to civ.

I already have plaenty of colonies

Those screenies are old and don't show my conquest of Central America or my annexation of Scotland.

See I just have to conquer 4 of 6 continents (the other 2 are basically mine). I'm not a traitor! I'M NOT A TRAITOR!

HEY! I live my life in between civ releases, thank you very much. Obsession is clearly demarcated for release day, and not a moment before.
