That review is noted in the Beyond the Sword Fact Sheet thread (post #182). The space shot is an included scenario "Final Frontier:" a

"Civ in space" scenario, where you colonize other planets and do things on a galactic scale

per Solver in post #1 of the thread.

I haven't been reading the factsheet, or these forums much. I've been too busy playing EU3. It seems like Faraxis played EU3 took some of the concepts from it. Royal Marriages and Events are both in EU3.

Nonsense! Firaxis took the concepts from History! Just as EU3 did.

HEY! I live my life in between civ releases, thank you very much. Obsession is clearly demarcated for release day, and not a moment before.
