  • Vassal Bug?

I may have found a bug in the vassal system. I was playing a game with 4 AIs, I had destroyed two and was close to the end game. I realized that both the remaining AIs would get to space before me and I probably couldn't destroy them both in time. However, I knew that I made a vassal, I could win a diplo win because it would put me over the votes with my votes plus his. Thus I made Japan my vassal but forgot to take the city with the UN. Thus when the votes game up, I was a choice and Japan was a choice. He of course voted for himself despite being my lapdog. I would think that a vassal should vote as you do regardless. That being a main plus of having a lapdog.

Not a bug. Vassals will vote for you, unless they can vote for themselves.
