Here's a poll: Do you want Hitler as a leader?

This seems to be a recurring topic, so I'm just going to pose the question flat out to the community: Do you think Hitler should be included in Civ 4?

Mind you, the Holocaust was the saddest thing that happened in the history of the world, but Hitler was a prominent figure in history during one of the most turbulent times. I wouldn't mind playing Hitler's Germany in a WWII campaign just for the historical simulation of it.

Firaxis would NEVER ever put Hitler as a leader, but I'm curious as to what the Civ community thinks of this idea.

He was a terrible leader. Leaders get in civ because they were good not due to their impact on world history.

The problem is: without a Hitler leaderhead we'll never get a decent WOII scenario. And while I never play scenarios, a WOII scenario is still something any civ game must have

Not sure what WOII is, but WWII would be fun to play. An American Civil War scenario would be fun too.

Instead we get things like "Omens" and "Chinese Unification".

While Adolph was an extreme nationalist, he was also a socialist. Made sure everyone (of the "master race" & not Jewish) had food on their table & maybe even a job. Just saying he DID (pre-war at least) have some good aspects to him during those very depressing times. He was not totally evil, just predominately so.
