  • Great Scientist Lightbulb Beakers

Brief question. I know I saw this somewhere a while ago, but I haven't seen it recently, and can't find it with search (probably because I have no search-fu). How many beakers does a GS give when it lightbulbs a tech? IIRC, it's a set value plus 20 beakers per something, but I don't remember if that something was the number of citizens you have total, or number of scientists, or something like that. I think GE's give something like 500 + 20/citizen, but I might be wrong.

    Thanks in advance!

Not 100% certain but I think it is the 20 beakers*number of pop points on your team (of if no teams just the number of pop points in your civ.) The base amount depends on settings such as game speed though.
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

      For GS it's 1500 beakers + 3*your total population.
For others it's 1000 beakers + 2* your total pop.

I thought there was an adjustment depending on the tech score (varies by GP)?

I believe it also varies based on game speed, though it probably varies in a way proportional to the increase in tech costs. Not sure about map size.
