removing passwords

Story:

I am moderating a game that I am not playing in.

A player left the game, so I needed to remove the old password so the new player can take over


What I have done so far:

Used the Admin password, Alt - D, to get into the player profile
Clicked in the password area, backspaced to erase the password

Am I doing something wrong?

If you change it to something new, like "password", does that work? That's worked for me in the past...

use inputed the new password

sent turn to new player....nothing

so I played the turn with the new password in, saved game

Now I am waiting for the game to come around again to see if it works
