Any Way of Watching AI Battle each other

Has anyone been able to find a way to be able to watch the AI battle each other as they are doing it? I was able to do this with Civ3 (using debug mode and show enemy moves) but haven't been able to find a way to do it in Civ 4.

Mmm, I take it by the deadening silence that no one has been able to figure out a way to do this. Is this correct?

I don't think you can. The best you can do is see the results, but no "live action" if that's what you're looking for.

Go into the debug mode. Edit the game ini file:

CheatCode = chipotle

Start a normal game and now open the debug console and push the '¨' key (probably different for you, a key near enter and backspace). Type help for a list of commands. One is I think

game.AIPlay [number of turns]

. So typing:

game.AIPlay 20

will make the AI play 20 turns.

Another interesting one is

game.toggledebugmode

Thanks for the tips ben, however, I did try that couple of months ago before Warlords came out, but it does not show the AI battling, just the results.

Well you can step through an AI game turn for turn, inspect all cities. What do you want else?
