Buying Units Help

Hello,

I have a very noobish question: How do you use your gold/money to buy/rush unit production in Civ4? I know there was a way to do this in previous CIVs, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet.

Any help would be appreciated.

Use the rush-buy button in the city menu above the governor buttons (to the left of the Great Person points). It is only available if you are running the civic Universal Suffrage. Pop-rushing (sacrifycing population instead of gold) is available only if you are running Slavery.
