I was wondering ... can a player build two temples in a city? For example, a Jewish temple and a Christian temple? Or, will the second temple replace the first temple?

You can build all seven of everything for all religions, even the great religious building (e.g., Nativity) if you get the discovery and the prophet. ;-) They accumulate.

BTW, I may be the only person stupid enough to have actually tried this, but if you march your prophet into another civ's territory and build their great religious building, the gold goes to them, not you.

Kepler, you're not the only fool. I can verify your findings.

That's hysterical. It never would have occurred to me to even try that. That's why I have to come to the forums. I'm not creative enough to think this stuff up on my own, I have to read about it after other people have thought it up.

Where are we going? And why are we in this handbasket?

When my brother and I play MP teams, we'd use each other GL's for Wonders and shrines, helping each other out. Very useful if you have a GP, but your teammate has the Holy City. Or finishing off their Wonder to help with their economy...

If you gift a GP to an AI civ, do you get a diplo-bonus?
If you didn't gift it to them, but used it to build something for them, do you get a diplo-bonus?

I don't think so. I haven't gifted an AI any GPs, though, just missionaries, and they don't thank me for them...

                Gift is a noun.

                  Except when it's a verb.
