  • Things to add to Civ

*writers block* (so I'll just start) I think a GOOD wonder to add is the carthage massive port. this port was desined to be both an economic and Military port surrounded by a wall so no one knew when the war ships were comeing out to destroy their ship. It would most likely have +1 trade route and +2 expirience to naval units. cool wonder to have huh.

(I think its in warlords but) It would be a cool thing to have personalised citys. A Japanese city should have Japanese buildings, civilisations from Africa and the middle east should have sandstone buildings instead of the usual unicultual buildings. (hope no one thinks I'm beeing steriotypical )

    I'm all out of wonders.

P.S. I don't have warlords expantion (I have little money and my computer wouldn't run it very good anyway) so it might be in warlords allready.

        Now you're just being enigmatic.

CtM: Each civ is part of a larger cultural area, and already have certain style buildings. Included are Middle East (with Africa), East Asia, Europe, Mediterranean, and South- and Central America. It's been around since Civ 2.

The thread that Will9 refers to has a few ideas, but the massive port wasn't one. Interesting idea, though. The Carthaginian Cothon may be already the port you refer to, and it's Carthage's UB, but I could be wrong.

Vanilla has only one graphics set for cities, Warlords added the Mediterranean and Far east styles.
I don't know where you've seen the other two styles, probably in the XML files, but surely not on screen.

Warlords also added South American style, IIRC.
