  • Alliances advice needed

So, I yesterday started a game with 2 civs in one team and permanent alliances on.

Once the civs had achieved a trading route between them (the 3 triangularly positioned arrows beside leader name), I was expecting all resources to be automatically shared, however it did not happen.

I also couldn't do any sort of diplomacy to exchange those resources..

I was having 2 resources double, so it was also not a problem.

Im playing vanilla 1.61 with latest Blakes AI modifications.

Any one else expierenced this? Any solution available?

    Thanks,
    bT

Well, I'm not sure what this line means

I was having 2 resources double, so it was also not a problem.
but I do know that civs in a permanent alliance can't share a single resource. When it comes to resources they are treated as two seperate civs - two that are more inclined to give each other gifts.

AS Thedrin writes, resources aren't automatically pooled under PAs.

As already said they are treated as separate civs. You should find that they'll give you any spare resources that you don't have for free before trading with other civs.
