  • Kicking Butt and being compared to Dan Quayle

The last 3 games I have won, I have beat the living crap out of the other Civs. I get all done and at the final tally I am informed that I have the Leadership qualites of Dan Quayle. What do I have to do to get higher up the list? What are the points I need?

    the score doesn't mean anything.

But basically the two main things are Population and Speed. You'll get a high score by finishing very early, or finishing later with a very large population/territory.

      Don't forget difficulty.

If you play at very low difficulties you will always get a pathetic score no matter how well you do. There's a huge negative modifier to your final score when you play at low difficulty levels.

Winning before 1900 will guarantee a high score, even at lower difficulties. (Of course your score is even better at high difficulty.)

That is why I keep getting a high score. I always win in the 1890s.

I usually get it done around 2000 or sometimes a little later.
