How do you turn the map?

Hi. I'm aware how you navigate through the world map. You simply move the mouse to the edge of the screen, and the screen moves. Or, you can use that middle "scroll" button in the mouse to zoom in or out.

But I wish to know how I can rotate the map so I can look at a unit from any of the 360 degree angle I choose. I've seen this done in demo videos and also in the tutorial included with the game, but I haven't been able to do this in the game.

Can someone help?

Set AllowFlying = 1 in your CivilizationIV.ini and press Alt-Ctrl-F in the game.
