Include "International projects"

For those who want to make Civilaztion more like the real world

I am missing the opportunity to start international projects. Most striking example is (for me as european that is) is the ESA. Several european countries and canada are working together in this successfull project. In civ terms it should have a positive influence on research, culture and the attitude the different participants have towards each other. Other example is the International space station.

Come to think of it it would be like a wonder that can only be constructed by a combination of civs (this would also effect the those who play multiplayer games)

I specifically did not mention the European Union project for this is mainly politically driven and although such structures have a place in Civilization they are probably too difficult to incorporate in the game.

Seems like alot of work for something that would only be useful in the dying moments of the game.

True, but the end game does need spicing up a bit. I much prefer earlier parts of the game. And the UN, as we know, sucks big bananas.

We could have the international space station. Perhaps provide a boost to science. But how would we work that into the game? Basically you'd be converting cash into science. We can do that with the game mechanics anyways (by adjusting the slider)

And how much science does it actually provide anyways? It's really just a big money pit.

For some reason, I read international sodomy instead of international socialism. It gives me an unpleasant picture of men lined up all the way arround the world in a circle of homosexuality, eaching being ****** and each *******. A circle of friendship. I'm a glad that's not what it said and I'm going to bed now before a start conjuring up even more frightening images in my mind.
