Preventing the "hey, you're too close" issue

Since I tend to be a late game warmonger (I like late game attacks..after 1200AD) I can understand how you feel about not liking to go to war. but, your wishes are not the same of most of the AI's. so, be prepared for war all the time. to be honest, it really is the position of most countries. they must be ready to fight if needed. So, I think in this respect CIV does a good job on imitating reality.
