A consistent problem I've had since the game was installed and patched three weeks ago.
Whenever starting a new game, the generation completes, the "In the Beginning" video starts, (and will run to the end if I let it), but when I click on Ok, (Or start, or whatever) the computer locks completely. Sound continues, but no mouse, nothing. A hard reset is required to get out of it.
Funnily enough, loading the autosave works fine, and no subsequent crashes occur, (or with any subsequent save game). It's purely the new game start sequence that's causing the problem.
Obviously there's a workaround, but I'm getting annoyed with having to switch off the computer mid-flow, so to speak, not the nicest thing to do to it....
Latest drivers and patches are installed,
HP Laptop, plenty of everything.
