  • Crashing

Im tryign to play a little civ 4 here but having difficulty. The game crashes after its running for a minute or two, wether I get in game quick and play 10 turns or play around in the options. That sounded like a heat issue, and my card was very hot. I messed with all the fans and its running right now cool and all, I did a little stress test with atiTool and there is no heat issue, but it still crashes.

I've updated the catalyst drivers, direct x is the right version, motherboard drivers, I'm stumped.

    I have a
    AMD 2500+ @ 3200+
    1024 mb ram
    abit nf7-s2
    Ati 9800 Pro.

I'm also going to unstall the ATI drivers now and give Omega a shot.

Nope still crashes, sometiems freezes, sometimes blue screens, with no error, just a blue screen.

My first suggestion is to lower the color depth to 16-bit and use lower graphical settings.

      What patch level are you?
