warlords font size

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone knows a way to decrease the font size used in the Warlords expansion? For some reason Firaxis decided to change the font from the one used in the vanilla version and I'm finding the console, menus and troop info pop-ups rather cluttered, and truncated. The main problem being large troop stack info flooding off the top of my screen.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

EDIT: BTW, I have the game set to 1024x768, and would rather not have to change that to a higher value if possible.

Can't say I'm experiencing the same behavior but that might be me not noticing stuff - is this a general change or do only you see this?

Can't really say, since I have only seen the game on my computer.

Tried the graphic scaling tool. It does reduce the font size to an extent, so I will use that solution for now. Once again, thank you.

It would be nice to reduce the size further, however. I checked out which file the graphics tool modifies and opened it up. There is a section on fonts and sizes, but it's pretty much gibberish to me. Anyone want to give me a crash course?

Ok... I was just browsing through the Warlords Screenshot thread and I realized that the font used by Warlords on my computer is completely different from everybody elses. Behold:

The graphic scaling tool will also change the font. You can uninstall those changes via the tool or mess more with those font settings.

EDIT: By the way, I find that exiting the game and restarting after you make changes is the best way to see results reliably.

The scaling tool gives the option to switch between serif and sans serif, but that doesn't seem to change which font Warlords selects. The font pictured is the same one it's been using since I first installed it.

Incidentally, I uninstalled Warlords and reinstalled it to no effect.

I also checked that the vanilla version has not somehow switched fonts, and it hasn't.
