Video Card Upgrade

I was running civ4 on my old Geforce4 Ti 4200 with latest patches no problem. However, I upgraded to a Geforce FX 5200... now the graphics are significantly worse. I used the same nvidia patches, but movies are out of sync with sound and leader portraits are slower and edgier.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'd appreciate any advice at this point, even if it's a wild guess! Thanks!

You say you are using the "same nvidia patches" (I assume you mean drivers?). Have you reinstalled these after adding your new graphics card? If not, try that as the drivers will then register properly with the card,
