$30 isn't bad considering how popular a game it is.

Like h*** it was. I've been to or called most of the stores here in Victoria and no one has it yet, not even Wal-Mart. It seems to me that there are some screw ups in the distribution. I checked EB Games yesterday, the 24th, and it hadn't even been shipped out yet.

At an italian shop yestarday evening, the clerk checked his pre-order system and announced to me that the game will be sold at 19.90 EUR (but the expansion is expected available in shop not before the end of august ). I'll double check at another shop today.

I bought a copy at Best Buy yesterday for $29.99. Couldn't find it at first and asked a salesman who checked and found they were supposed to have 6 copies. We finally found it in the "S" section - "S" for Sid. The salesman moved it next to the Civ 4. By the way what happened to the horney viking helmeted warrior that I thought was going to be on the box cover?

Why? Were you looking forward to it?

Just this minute got an order from dvd.co.uk saying my order is being "processed". Unfortunately I severely doubt this means that us who have ordered from them will be receiving the game tomorrow, since they're Jersey-based. Boo hoo

(Oh well at least it won't get in the way of my dissertation tomorrow)

I prepaid for the game at Gamestop in San Diego, for $39.99 plus tax. When I picked the game up on Tuesday, the price had dropped ten bucks and I got reimbursed.

                  So $29.99.
One of these days I'll make 501 posts, and you won't have to look at my silly little diplomat anymore.

My Amazon order shipped at 10.30 this morning, so I'll get it on the day of release tomorrow. Looks like I made the right choice.

To add insult to injury they reduced their price to £17 so I didn't even pay the £2 extra.

Fry's in Sunnyvale, California is still selling it for $25. And they have about 1000 copies of it on the shelf.

£18, and the expansion pack's price is exactly the same right now. I'm going to wait it to drop a bit, since I'm not desperate. Buying it in Finland would be even more ludicrous, it's probably at least €30, maybe more.

I wish I had a Fry's nearby, especially with the exchange rate what it is. $25 is like, what, €10?

Got it today for NZD$44.95, or at the current exchange rate USD$27.38, so not too bad.
I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.

Count yourself lucky with those gas prizes... In Finland, with gas being heavily taxed, our prizes today are soaring at around 1.4€ per liter - which translates to about 5.3€ or nearly $7/gal.

Understandably, I won't be going very far to get my Warlords, walking distance preferred!
