Of course, that would be true, except the happiness evens it out until there is only one general reason for unhappiness.

I seem to recall that it doesn't - that my war weariness restarted at the same level it was when I made peace. But I may have missed something there.
my impression has been that if you restart hostilities, war weariness jumps back up to the original level, or close to it. it also climbs faster if you are the one that declared war.

I thought it began again from zero.

Does anybody else think the quote of "War... What is it good for? Absolutely nothing... Unh!" Should actually have the "Unh!" bit after war. Shouldn't it be "War... Unh! What is it good for? Absolutely nothing"

Haven't heard the song for ages so I could be wrong, but thats the way I remember it.

Also how do you get the +2 for "Our State Religion is the best"? I would guess that it is when the majority, or all other cultures have your religion.

If it is with a different opponent, correct. If with the same opponent, not.

But war weariness does go down over a prolonged peace, right (like the diplomatic modifiers)? I have fought long wars with someone followed by a period of peace - and don't remember war weariness being a big problem when war starts again.

War weariness goes directly to zero, once peace is declared. However, if you reattack the last opponent in the near term, it jumps back up. This amount does go down over time and goes away eventually.

Ask for peace, keep bullying them and have them declaring war.
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.
