    Clearly A.
    * More forest (by not settling on it...)
    * More resources
    * Fewer water squares (good for FIN civs, but I generally don't like them in a capital)

    Losing the 1 food the harbor would provide is negligible

      But he is also losing the potential lucrative trade routes of a coastal city...gets a -1 health from the jungle untill IW which might become -2 if the jungle expands...apart from the facts i would trust that the starting location is better for the three upper tiles of the city which are not visible yet...
      no more turns...

            Move the scout to the grassland hill to reveal a bit more map.

              I would move to A in order to work the Rice. Getting your capital to work high output tiles early on is more important than later-game concerns like coastal access (except on an Archipelago map). Conveniently, the A site also puts the Gems within reach.

              Grasslands are better than Coasts.

              With the information we have now, I would place my second city on the blue circle to the South. It's coastal and can share the Rice and Banana with the capital if needed. I would not be be surprised to find some sort of seafood down there as well...

                    In this case I don't think it's really going to matter since there's enough good resources around to support several cities.

                    My gut instinct would be to move the settler 1-right and settle on the coast, going settler first and creating a second city, possibly on the blue circle between the rice and gems (altough scouting may reveal a better site). It seems that 'A' might block off a good city site, a seafood resource in the bottom-left would be unaccessable by the looks of things altough it is possible I'm reading the shape of the coast wrongly.

                    Note: Farmed, the rice is 4-0-0. The farmed bananas are 4-0-1, farms the nanas first.

                      I would move to the plains hill, it gives an extra hammer, unless extra scouting shows a better place.

                          The warrior started just south of A, popped a Scout from a hut, and scout went back north.
