MP freeze on F screens

I've started playing MP in the last week or so, and have a bad problem... I seem to crash/freeze when trying to access any of the F (Advisor) screens except for F1.

I've done a clean re-install and patch update. I've tried re-booting and closing everything else possible.

This has happened both in Internet games and in test LAN games (local - me against AIs only).

Any ideas?
