Discovering the personality of a random personality AI
Discovering the personality of a random personality AI
Does anyone know how to discover the personality assigned to an AI in a random personality single player game? I'm assuming you have to use the world builder or debug mode on a saved game and switch to the ai player.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
I'm not being rude, but isn't the fact that it's random, and that you don't know, the point?
Or are you analysing a finished game to see why things turned out the way that they did?
I don't know why he saved my life. Maybe in those last moments he loved life more than he ever had before. Not just his life - anybody's life, my life. All he'd wanted were the same answers the rest of us want. Where did I come from? Where am I going? How long have I got? All I could do was sit there and watch him die.
Well, simply check the diplomacy screen and see what kind of attitude modifiers the leaders have to each other - whether the religious bonuses/maluses are big or not, whether they are pissant about close borders and if they hold a grudge.
The problem with leadership is inevitably: Who will play God?

I'd be real interested in this too. I've been modding leader personalities and there's a lot of factors that can be changed, and I'm curious as to what factors can be changed and by how much with random personalities. In the Civ4LeaderHeadInfo.xml file, there are some lines that have "random" in it that I think MIGHT tell how much the variable they apply to can change from the default setting, but I don't know if that's every game or only random personality games.

You could just do it the old-fashioned way by playing the game and seeing what happens.
