invisible resources after installing 1.61 patch..?

Yesterday I installed the new patch (1.61) - now when I play the game, no resources are shown. If I hover the mouse over a tile, it says there are cows there, or if my worker is on the same tile it gives the option to build a pasture, but they are invisible.

Tried all the usual girl options (turn it off and on again, reinstall it...) but to no avail. Anyone else had this problem and/or know how to solve it?
