I don't go for one uber unit, I like to have 10 - 15 Horse/Elephant/Knight/Cav that have CombatIII and March, then upgrade them to choppers.

Choppers with march keep the advance going and going and going...

I like to give them blitz, and then have a couple of medic 2s. But maybe I'll try the march upgrade. I've really never used it.

I hope I don't meet any AI's with units as experienced as that

Note Isabella's comically feeble attempt to assault that city.

Montezuma may be a d*ck, but disgustingly effective one for me.

Isabella's just fun to kick around.

Except for that's his capital and it's now completely devoid of improvements. In fact, looking at the screenie, I'd say that Isabella isn't the one getting kicked around, but it's the keeper!

It took a stack of 20 riflemen to finally rid the city of all the longbowmen.

If I did the numbers right, the strongest longbowman is defending at str 21.6 with a few first strikes.

I ended up losing that OOC game. I formed a perm alliance with Egypt. And 5 turns later, Fred and Asoka formed a PA too. We couldn't compete with that.
