  • civilopedia question

I am ware this might be a stupid question but I will throw myself into the fire just the same.

When I apply a patch, say 1.52 or 1.61, is the civilopedia and online help system updated accordingly?

Since the printed documentation goes out of date somewhat with the patches changing +health values etc it would be good if there is something ingame to rely on and not having to consult the readmes for the individual patches.

The patches upgrade the Pedia, yes.

I don't think that is a stupid question at all.

However I have no idea of the answer - must check.

I thinks it would be pretty stoopid if it didn't, but you never know!

      Thanks Solver!

Actually, the Civilopedia updates itself from game files. For example, if you change unit costs, or change the techs required for a building, or something else, then the Civilopedia will update to reflect that.

That's really funky - and agreat attribute for such a moddable game.

Well, it's not rocket science exactly, but yeah, it's very convenient especially for people who play with "mini mods" of their own - small mods that just change some numbers.
