Workshop?

I'd think, that by the dawn of the modern age, the humble workshop that brings a grand total of three or four hammers (depending on the tile) and it's boiling cauldron sitting outside would likely change into something a bit more modern perhaps an industrial complex? I wonder if there's a way to make a mod and a new graphic for this... any thoughts?

If I remember correctly that idea failed miserably. The backyard steel one, not the changing workshop one. Which sounds like a good idea, if not terribly major.

It's not a gamebreaker for me, but I wouldn't mind seeing a little factory. Maybe the designers didn't do it becaus they thought it might look like a coal plant and people would be confused and think it generated pollution. Or maybe they just overlooked it, having bigger fish to fry.

Nah, it isn't a gamebreaker for me, either... I just think the workshop looks a bit out-of-place after the industrial revolution begins... especially since all the other tiles change with the ages. I'd like to see a little industrial complex with a couple little factories, that can perhaps grow one-step to a total of 5 hammers?

I like that. After all, the windmills change to the electrical-generating type when you get Electricity, so why shouldn't the Workshops change when you get Assembly Line?
