I would like indirect fire in the more modern artillery in a 2 or 3 tile range.

Did I also hear Firaxis are inserting a siege unit between catas and cannons?

Badtz Maru: Its odd the different concepts we have of what our units actually are. When a longbowman beats a gunship in 1980, I've always thought of it as being 10 gunships vs. 195 longbowmen and 5 guys with black market RPGs.

        Another thought re bombardment:
Similar to Civ2, damaged transport-capable ships should have their transport capacity reduced.
Since the units also represent some combat escort, a unit with 50% damage should have its capacity reduced by 25% when loading; units on board when attacked should be damaged half as much as the naval unit is damaged (similar to the 'firepower' adjustment in v1.61).
