This is an interesting thread to read. I remember in Civ 3 I would sometimes save before a big battle and know I could reload it for different results. I'm glad I don't have the luxury of that cheat anymore, although sometimes I wish I did. It's interesting to know that there is some kind of logical nature to the seed process.
