I enter my login info and click ok but nothing happens

I can't login to the multiplayer lobby. After entering my username and password I click ok, but nothing happens. Likewise, when I try to create a new account, nothing happens. No response whatsoever.

I have my firewall open to allow UDP traffic on 2056 as the readme specifies is required.

Have you downloaded patch 1.61?

The patch is required in order to play multiplayer.

Try adding the programme "civ4.exe" to the firewall exceptions list. This automatically open the required ports anyway, by doing so.
