I installed the 1.61 patch and I have no interface. Ctl-I and Alt-I reduces it, but how do I get the max interface back?

You have mods installed that aren't compatible with v1.61. Remove all your mods and try again. If that doesn't help, reinstall the game and then apply the patch.

I had the same problem and reinstalling then patching fixed it, just as Locutus says.
