    Strange

    Hi all;

    I play a strange game at the moment.
    One of my opponents are on the list with a score of 20 points for 5000 years already.
    I can't trade with them, they have no cities but only 3 units wandering my empire.

    What is wrong ?

    Maybe there is a bug regarding situations where the settler gets killed before it can build the first city.

    I think this is similar bug as discussed in this thread:

    ...so you need to kill those units and then that civ will disappear.

      Isn't there an option where you need to kill each and every unit before the Civ is taken out?
      Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

        Yep, the "Require Complete Kills" option. Maybe you checked this box by mistake, McRoos?

          That is my suggestion too. Never use it myself, it sounds like a tiresome option to use...

            yep they got some warrior or other unit running around, I have that happening in a pbem I am in, when I get around to it, Ill kill the last remaining unit.

                      Sounds like civ1 or civ2.
                      If a civilization's settler was killed before it could found it's first city, it could never been eliminated and would always show up as being still alive during the rest of the game.

                      No matter if it still got units running around or not.
