  • War worthiness(Excel Calculator)

Some of you know my other word document that was used to help make the decision to go to war. It applied numerical values to such things as trade, military costs of war etc. etc. This new iteration does the same thing but its far more streamlined. Instead of a word document it is in an excel format with an easily understood interface, a color cordinated system and best of all it calculates all of the values for you. Instead of taking 10-15 minutes filling out an unwieldy word document you simply enter the values and in a matter of a few seconds you have your answer. It comes with a readme file and a tutorial. Give it a shot, let me know what you think.

For those of you who have never heard of this document before, it is basically used as a check-list system that provides an overall all look at the war you might get into. If you're on the fence about a war, give this a shot, it may help.

    Thanks
    Danny

I can't find the Readme in the download...
    Error? Or my bad?

Normally I use the always precise “gut feeling” when deciding whether or not I should go to war. Most of those are decided by “Today I’d like to bonk some heads! ”.
That is if I have a choice. ~90% of my wars are started by others ( 50% of those by Monty or Toku).

I might find some use for this if it is as simple as it seems. But probably not as it would require the time consuming toggle Game–>Excel–>Game–>Excel–>Game to put in all needed data.
Time away from the game, is time away from the fun!

In AU games, Comparison games and HOF games, sure. But only if its results could be verified by play testing from several users.

Good work though! And a neat idea for easing a complex question. Don’t let my scepticism stop you from further refining this. Thumbs up for effort!
