I need video card advice

I just started a new job recently so I'm going to have some cash to spend on a new video card soon. I was just checking out Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and their recommended cards are the Radeon X800 or the GeForce 6800. Since those seem to be the best I can get for my AGP motherboard, my choice will be either of those two.

But which one is the better deal, or is there something better I can get? PCI-Express is not an option at the moment since I just replaced my MB about a month ago and I don't intend on doing it again so soon.
