Any way to make only techs from early to middle ages so I can fight in the middle ages only. Don't get me wrong I love to slaughter the AIs with my mighty modern military
But just for a change.

You can always modify the XML so that the later technologies have as prerequisite a tech that can't be researched--for example, make them require Future Tech (which you can't get to till you research the earlier techs...which you have now made a requirement to GET the earlier techs ^_^ ).
