  • You have been defeated

New custom game. Excited to be Incan. I haven't been them yet. Before i see anything, the You have been defeated message appears. Don't know my resources don't know what happened?

Well, Capac is a bit flakey, must've offed himself.
I've allways wanted to play "Russ Meyer's Civilization"

Is there an initial 4000 BC autosave game that you can upload, let other people see the great loss? Are you using any mods?

At least you never got caught up in the "just one more turn" scenario. But, you did experience the "just one turn" scenario.

If you try it again, does it do the same thing?

Gandhi is a pain - he probably launched in 4000BC just before you started your turn.

no saved game and it worked second time, i'll try it again to see if it happens but i doubt it. Is there anyway to find old autosaves, theres only one in the file

I blame it on Mansa Musa - he must have power teched to nukes in one turn and blown you away before you even spawned.

                  simple example of what happened:

8 players selected at start of the game,
game deturmined only room for 7 civs or less (spacing apart from other civs, island must be x tiles big to start on it, and many other code maths...) and decided randomly to kick you from the map.

this typicly happens when you pick a tiny or small map size and a lot of civs

ive had the same sudden defeat midgame, with nobody close to the modern age, and everybody equal in land, culture, and pop.

Naw. It was Napoleon. Or maybe Isabella. Those two are pains. They attack me, and my SEALs burninate their countries
