Dual Screens

Hope someone can assist an old man is his quest for games at all hours

I have 1gb of system Ram
and a WinFast A6600 GT 128mb Vid card

My goal: to be able to operate CIV on the left screen while operating other programs on the right screen.

The issue: CIV works fine until I click into the right screen, then CIV minimises. I want it to stay active.

Please note: I can play Civ III and DVD's quite easily on left screen and work on right screen, no dramas. They do not minimise.

My dilema: cannot be playing CIV and missing out on emails; msn chat; news services etc on right screen - a lad has to at least appear to be working hard when the brains trust come in from school

I run CIV in windowed mode and I can do stuff on my other screen at the same time. My comp isn't really fast enough to do both very effectively (CIV on it's own is slow enough) but if your machine has enough grunt I should think it is possible.
