Can't get past the "loading" screen

My system:

Centrino 1.86 GHz
512 MB RAM
Intel 915GM/910 video card (128 MB)
Civ 4 version 1.52

First, I realize that my graphics card does not support T&L (now I do anyway)

I've tried installing all the hardware updates but it seems to make no difference. Furthermore, when I try to adjust my video memory BIOS, well there is no video memory setting option at all.

Don't know what else to do. Any tips?

Yep = get a card that supports T & L .... it IS a requirement.
