Border agreements in Civ5?

I wish there was a way to draw permanent borders through a mutual agreement between two nations like a border treaty. It would add quite an element to the game if one could re-create a Treaty of Versailles or Congress of Vienna-like situation.

One acronym SDK. I would imagine you won't even have to wait until Civ 5 to do this when all the hard coded game code is coming our way. However I would suggest moving this over to the creation and files area, they would be more help to you in getting this idea implemented.
