Culture Per Tile ?

Hello Everyone,

I have been experimenting a bit with different styles of cultural domination.

Does anyone know of a way that I can see exactly what the culture count is for a given tile? While the percentage is helpful, in circumstances where there is more then one possible cultural influence, it would be much more helpful to see a codified number of some type.

Any assistance is heartily appreciated.

Is it even possible to view the actual culture number for a given tile?

Yes, it is, but only by activating cheats. Find the CivilizationIV.ini file, and search through it. There's a line that reads

cheatcode = 0

change that to read

cheatcode = chipotle

Now, when you're back in game, holding the SHIFT key will give you a breakdown of the square your mouse pointer is on.

What of the culture number for other civs? sorry for asking here, but if a ulture person comes by, they could know the answer to both

"chipotle" ?!? Where'd they pick that one up at?

What about "ranchero" or "mole"?

It's a hot pepper, but I have no idea what possessed them to use that as the code.
