Is there a link somewhere that describes the actual advantages of each leadership "quality". (Philosophical, Expansive, Financial, Organized, Aggressive, etc.)

I'm pretty sure I have the just of it, but would like to read something more formal and official.

    Thanks.

They're all listed starting on page 85 of the English version of the manual. They're probably in the Civilopedia somewhere as well. My guess would be in Game Concepts.

      Nutshell:

Phi -> Double speed great people, 2X speed building universities.
(Good for Builders once they have their first wonder. Best time is Education.)

Exp -> +2 health points. 2X speed building graneries.
(Best in early game for the quick graneries. Provided there's enough happiness though, can allow 2 more citizens per city.)

Fin -> +1 gold per tile already producing 2+. 2X speed building Banks.
(Best on maps with lots of rivers, best time is Banking.)

Org -> Reduced maintenance. 2X speed building Lighthouses & Courthouses.
(Works best for players that like to expand weather peacefully or militarily. Also excelent on ocean maps / maps where you have a lot of coastal cities.)

Agr -> Units start with free 1st generic. 2X speed building baracks.
      (Prefered by war monglers)

Spi -> No anarchy. 2X speed building Temples
(Mostly an early game traight for the temples, but is also good for players who like to change religions and/or civic choices a lot.)

Ind -> +50% speed building wonders. 2X speed building Forges.
(A builder traight, particularly early on for early wonders, and quick forges)

Cre -> +2 culture per city. 2X speed Theater & Colosium
Mostly an early game traight for quickly expanding new cities.

There's a good one-page summary floating around that has the Civs, their leaders and characteristics, and the special unit abilities. At the bottom is a quick reference to the characteristcs and what they do. I keep it handy and when I start a game, I use it to help me determine which direction I am going based on who I am.
