Let me know if that works.
unfortunately the city has 2 other wonders. but believe me, i have come close to doing it.
guess i am screwed as far as that goes in this game. dont think i will ever play with it enabled again.

This really is a poor aspect that needs fixing.

You need to have the un despite deselecting the diplomatic victory.

This way it can play more like the Smac version.
The strength and ferocity of a rhinoceros... The speed and agility of a jungle cat... the intelligence of a garden snail.

so once a resolution is passed, it is there forever? & given that some civs & playing styles do better with different choices, having the resolutions be so specific is ridiculous.especially when there is no way to change them even if you have the un.
i truly think it is ridiculous to spend the time & resources buliding the damn thing as part of your plan then have your strategy shot out from underneath if you lose control just once. not that i am going to lose, i just wanted to try some differnet things & now that option is gone.
I think it IS possible to reverse past resolutions - just put the already passed resolution up for election again. Haven't repelled any resolutions myself, but I know that it's possible to put already passed resolution up to a vote again, which to me suggests that if they then fail, the resolution is repelled. (Otherwise, what would be the sense in the game allowing you to put passed resolutions to vote?)

You cannot put passed resolutions up to vote again.

You sure about that? I could swear that I accidentally clicked on a resolution that said "PASSED" on it in one of my games, and the resolution got voted on again.

But if it gets voted against it, would it repell the resolution? Someone should try it out some day
This space is empty... or is it?
