Spectator mode

It would be intresting to build a custom map with identical islands, having identical resources, spaced equaly apart and put one civ on each. There should be a spectator mode where you have access to all the info for each civ (as if they were your own) and no fog of war from the start. Then you could see how the different civs evolve.

Yeah lets have a spectator mode, The more I think about it the more I like it.

A god-mode might be fun. Like the spectator, but you have some/all of the worldbuilder tools available.

A SimEarth type of mod would be fun. You'd get points/mana or something, and try to guide humanity to stars/thermonuclear war, using the tools.

Yeah, I've doing some experiments with how forests grow, pressing end turn all the time is very, very dull.

spectator mode is an awesome idea i think ! also as an option for mp games
