Haven't seen any discussion about this, but i figured what the heck, might as well post something.
Here's me issue. I'm running the following system:
AMD Athlon 1.7ghz
512k memory
Nvidia geforce fx5500 256kb
Soundblaster Live audio
The game starts fine, no problem with movies or sound (a little choppy, but I am going to update my drivers for the sound). I am already running 81.98 for the video card, but my mouse completely locks up, no VISUAL momvement of the pointer. I am already running on lowest graphic settings, size, etc. I've updated my mouse drivers on the chance there's some kind of compatability problem there. The strange thing is that it locks at different times. Sometimes when loading, sometimes after the intro movies are done (skipping them or not), sometimes after one turn, sometimes after 15-20 turns. and if I close out the game, one back tot he desktop, the pointer still doesn't move! Any ideas?
