    New Music ??

    Hi
    I noticed that the music files for Civ are Mp3s in a specific folder.
    Question
    Is it possible to just put another mp3 in that folder to get it to play during gameplay or do i need to do something else. Dont get me wrong i LOVE the music supplied, im just curious thats all

    You can pick your own music selections from your own files in the options menu.

        If you just want custom music regardless of what time period it is, then you can use the custom music folder option in the options menu.

        If you want to insert some musical pieces among the standard soundtrack in a certain time period, then you have to modify several of the XML files of the game in addition to putting the mp3 files in the appropriate directory.

          I wasnt aware of the custom option !! I ll have a look at that tonight.
